Good Day

Sunday my little niece was blessed. My brother did a beautiful job and Camryn was sooo good! It was such a special day. It’s still crazy for me to see my little brother as a dad…he sure is a great one though!

Later that day we had a combined b-day party for Allyx and Brian. Brian got one of his fave movies (note the gift wrapping via my brother), a sweet knife, and Taylor happily gave him a coon-skin hat, a rifle lighter, and of course a little stuffed toy to use it all on. Allyx got Mouse Trap….isn’t’ that what every 20 year old wants???

And I of course spent most of the day in the bathroom!

Heber Valley Camp

This weekend we went up to the Heber Valley Valley Camp with Brian's family. It was so fun and it was soooo beautiful. The Church owns this camp and they keep it so nice. We stayed in some great cabins so we were able to get a great night's sleep. We did all the traditional camping stuff with tinfoil dinners and s'mores. Kaitlyn just loved being outside and Brian and I loved it too!

Red Neck Saturday Night

This Saturday we put on our wranglers and cowboy hats (not really) and headed out to the Riverton Demolition Derby with our friends Mike & Mindi. It was a lot of fun. We sat down pretty close so we managed to get sprayed with dirt and rocks, inhaled a lot of exhaust, and got a primo view of the guy throwing up during the hamburger eating contest!

So this morning I was apparently not being as attentive as I should have been. I was doing my Yoga video and Kaitlyn was playing with her toys. I guess I didn’t see her get up because next thing I know she is sitting in the same place as before but she had gotten a hold of my Vaseline and was rubbing it ALL OVER her face and hair. I couldn’t even be that mad because she looked so cute and funny. I just laughed and of course grabbed the camera first instead of washing her off. Good thing she hadn’t had her bath yet!
