Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let it Snow!

I have just LOVED all this snow lately! Kaitlyn has loved it too, so the other day we geared up for the cold and went in the backyard and build us a snowman! (Really I built it while kaitlyn threw snow at the snowman, threw snow at me, and ate A LOT of snow!!!) Kaitlyn wanted it to be a "daddy snowman", so he's all ready to hit the hills on his snowboard. Maybe next time we'll build a "mommy snowman" to go with it!

A Very Merry Christmas

Well, the jolly old man made it down the chimney and was very nice to these two crazy girls at our house! We had such a wonderful Christmas. I've always loved this holiday, but having kids has increased the joy the season brings me ten-fold! I love watching their eyes light up and the excitement of Christmas morning.

What are big sisters for if not to help unwrapping presents!

The one time a year mom is okay with messes. . .
As fun as the gifts and Santa are, I'm so grateful for my family and that we can be reminded of what is really important in life and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas together. I'm so thankful for my Savior and this time of year when we can remember His birth and the wonderful gifts He has given us. I know Christ lives and loves me!

Happy Birthday Kaitlyn!

Last Friday was Kaitlyn’s THIRD birthday! I can’t believe how quickly time flies. I remember when I was younger time seemed to go by so slow, each school year dragged on forever and all I wanted was for time to speed up so I could get older. Now I am older and time seems to be racing by me and all I want is for it to slow down so my little girls can stay little forever!

To celebrate the big day I took katilyn to see a movie. Just mom and Kaitlyn. We don’t get to do much just us anymore, so this was a fun outing for us. We went and saw Princess and the Frog. It was pretty cute. Kaitlyn wa hilarious and kept getting out of her chair to dance to the songs!

That night we had a little Tinkerbell party!

This is the cupcake cake I made Happy Birthday Princess!
