Our Trip to Alabama!

Kaitlyn and I just got back from a GREAT trip to Alabama to see my parents and little sister Jessie. We spent a week out there (hurricane free) and had such a blast. My sister Allyx flew out there too, so all us sisters were there together. The week went by WAY TOO FAST, but I was sooo glad we got to go spend time out there. Thanks to Brian for being willing to be a bachelor for a week and eat frozen pizzas and burritos!

( I had to create slide shows because there were just so many fun pictures!)

We did a lot of fun stuff. We traveled down to Tennessee to visit a Civil War battle site. We are history buffs around the Oborn house, so we really enjoyed it. Kailtyn wasn’t too happy about all the time in the car (about 5 hours round trip) but the rest of us liked it!

My parents have a gorgeous backyard that looks like a forest. They have a fire pit out there so for Family Home Evening we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. My mom was a little panicked with keeping Kaitlyn out the fire, but we got by with no injuries and only minimal bug bites. Looking at these pictures you won’t believe we are just in a back yard, it’s so pretty!

The night before Allyx & I went home, we got all gussied up and went to PF Changs. The food was delicious and the company divine!
