Better Late than Never

So, I’ve been a slacker blogger and I know that I’m almost a month late, but here is an update on our Christmas! We had a wonderful morning just the three of us. I’ve always loved Christmas, but having kids makes it so much better. This year was particularly fun because Kaitlyn was old enough to open her presents and get excited about them.
Christmas lasted most of the day for us. After we finished at our house we headed to the Tenney’s and opened presents from each other there. Then, we headed down to my brother’s house and opened even more presents with my family. We were totally spoiled but it was a great day and we loved being with our families.

The Verdict is In...

IT'S A GIRL!!!!

This morning we had our 20 week ultrasound and found out that everything looks great and that we will be having ANOTHER little girl join our family. I have to admit that Brian called it this time, I thought we were having a boy but Brian guessed a girl. We are SOOO excited! Kaitlyn will love having another little girl around and decorating their shared room is going to be a lot easier than I thought!

If we keep going like this, our safe will soon be full of these!

Time Sure Flies...

So today is Kaitlyn’s actual birthday. I’ve been all nostalgic all day and reliving that WONDERFUL and PERFECT day when Kaitlyn was born. I can’t believe it was two years ago already. Time sure flies. Being a mom is the greatest gift I have ever been given, I just love it. Kaitlyn is so fun and such a wonderful addition to our family. She makes me laugh every day and she gives me hugs and kisses all day long. She is so cute with her little cousin and I just know she is going to be the best big sister ever. I love you Kaitlyn and happy birthday!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Kaitlyn!

Kaitlyn turns TWO this coming Thursday and the other day we had a party with our family to celebrate. This year was so much fun because, while she didn’t know WHY we were celebrating, she had so much fun opening her presents, being with her cousins, and eating cake! I can’t believe she is two, times goes by so quickly. But these have been the best two years of my life and I can’t wait for the rest!
