Pioneer Day

We had a very fun Pioneer Day. My parents have been in Utah for a Pioneer Day since I was in 5th grade, so they were way excited to get to celebrate it with everyone. After a delicious pancake breakfast (courtesy of my dad) we headed up to Heritage Park and This is the Place Monument. It was HOT, HOT day but we still had a good time!

I took a picture of these calves because they were named Boothe and Bones! I love that show!

Just a little morbid...
What a good handcart pioneer my dad would have made! (Especially with sunglasses and a water bottle!)

This would have been our Alma Mater had we been born 150 years ago!

I Don't do Nerd Half Way

It’s true, I am a HUGE nerd! There are multiple reasons for this fact but one of them is Harry Potter. I LOVE the Harry Potter books. I love them so much that if I think too hard about the fact that there really is no Hogwarts and I can’t ever go there, I get sad. I love the movies too, not as much as the books but still a lot. My siblings and cousins got all dressed up Tuesday night and went to see the midnight showing of the sixth Harry Potter movie. Holy Crap I LOVED it!!! It is my favorite movie in the series by far. I was sooooo tired the next day, but it was totally worth it.
I love that I have family members that share in my nerdiness. we had so much fun and I can’t wait till the seventh movie comes out! Aaagghhhhhhh! Too far away!!!!!!!
Group Gryffindor is off!
Dan & Allyx...I mean, Ron & Hermione
Jessie went as Tonks. (You'll have to have read the books to really get her outfit, but it's awesome!)

I wish you could see Taylor's shirt better, but it said "Fancy a Snog"
My family makes me smile...

Jordan Commons was turned into a magical village!
Erin, Kallie, Allyx, & Jessie
Jake & Stephanie are my HP insperation!

Scofield

For the 4th of July weekend we took a trip up to Scofield State Park. Our brother-in-law, Spencer, has some family property up there by the lake, so Brian’s dad rented a 30-ft. trailer and we went to play in the dirt for the weekend. We had a lot of fun, we rode 4-wheelers, played games, cooked on the fire, and watched some fireworks. It was a GOOD thing we had a trailer, I don’t think I could have done it with Hailey if we were in a tent! Kaitlyn was one DIRTY little girl by the end of it, but she loved it so I guess it was totally worth it!

Kaitlyn & Ryker
Brian had to document what I was eating....Bacon....Pig bacon to be exact (it doesn't happen very often!)
Brian and I on the 4 wheeler....yep, I'm hard core!

Brent bought a motorcyle before we left....Brian LOVED it! He looks pretty hot on it too!
Kaitlyn ate about half a bag of marshmellows all on her own!

We went into town on the 4th to check out Scofield's little fair
I don't know if this picture truley does justice to just how dirty Kaitlyn was....
